Therefore it is important not only to stop the winter cold air from coming inside and costing you higher heating bills but also to stop the warm summer air in making it uncomfortably hot. With this in mind, if certain areas of your property are colder in winter or hotter in summer, you may have an issue with your cavity wall insulation.
At HomeSnag we offer 2 different services to spot-check the walls: The first is alongside your snagging survey on your new-build house where we spot-check a few different elevations (around 1m high) to check what insulation it is and if there are any gaps. This option will be prompted when you book your snagging survey on houses and is just £30 inc VAT.

Commercial Cavity Surveys
