Developers are known to set unrealistic deadlines when asking you for a snag list. Sometimes they will even ask for the snag list within 3 days after you’ve been handed the keys! They do this in the hope you don’t have the time to either write a snag list yourself or to hire a professional snagger. We believe this is wrong because it takes years of experience and specialist equipment to snag a new-build properly.
The term “snagging” is actually quite a subjective and broad process. In fact, most people associate it with raising minor cosmetic issues such as paintwork. Whilst other snagging companies will indeed focus entirely on these sort of minor cosmetic issues, instead our surveyors will focus on checking the important aspects that you won’t know to look for. As shown in these example photos, common new-build issues include un-level flooring, blocked drains, wonky brickwork and missing insulation.
Our team are qualified surveyors and we have spent the past decade refining a market-leading and award winning snagging service … Let us handle the snag list so you don’t have to.
