It is our mission to help improve the quality of new-builds by inspecting plots before customers move in. We have worked with many developers over the past 8 years in this pursuit. Whether our role is to just spot-check a few plots a month to monitor the quality, or inspecting every plot to improve your processes in the final stages, we passionately believe our role as a professional snagging company should be working with – rather than against – developers.
We offer several different types of survey to suit your objectives: Our flagship service is our Snagging Survey, which involves a thorough inspection of the property (see below list) and is the service that most developers ask us to carry out. We highlight issues using our bespoke app which categorises issues in area, severity and includes the relevant tolerances and videos to help demonstrate the issue. This snag list is presented in a photographic pdf document alongside an excel version for the site to tick off when complete, and is issued within just 2 days.
Snagging Surveys
This is the most popular service that we offer to developers, as it is more in-depth than a PCI. As well as raising issues on a report for your Site to action (and for management to receive) we can also tag up obvious plaster and paintwork issues.

- Views areas “out of sight” such as the roof using pole cameras
- PDF snag list in room order, making it easier to manage
- Provides relevant NHBC / building regulations etc guidance
- Identifies the more important or urgent issues using a Red / Amber system
- Saves the Site time having to inspect the plot
- Holds trades accountable for poor work before the customers move in
Pre Completion Inspections (NHQB compliant)
We carry out Pre Completion inspections mainly for customers due to move in, but some developers ask us to carry out this report which abides by the recent New Homes Quality Board standards.
Whilst most of the same categories are checked with a PCI, it is not in as much detail as we have to stick to the checklist provided by the NHQB

- Quick turnaround (typically the day after the inspection)
- States what areas meet standards as well as those that do not
- Identifies urgent issues such as a leak, as well as ongoing works
Thermal Heat-loss Surveys
We can carry out internal heat loss checks with a thermal camera known as our “Thermal-Lite”, or a full thermal heat loss survey in the winter months
