The first question is what indicates their stars out of 5. To be a 5-star builder, they have to get 90%+ of customers saying “yes” to this question. As you may know, Bovis are a 2-star builder because the majority of their customers said “no”! The second question of scoring out of 10 is the NPS score and this is important for the company’s performance on the stock market. Why? Well, it is the key performance indicator for reassurance that investors are backing a good reputable company for the long run.
The importance for YOU is that it is therefore very important for your developer to make you happy within the first couple of months so that you score them well. This 2-month period after completion is, without doubt, the best time to get your snagging inspection carried out on your new-build home.
